I've been a big fan of Felicity Cloake's Perfect column for the Guardian ever since it started. more...
As spring peeps around the corner, here are two new dates for your diaries:
Comments from our guests
We get a lot of enquiries from visitors to Berlin who are here only for a very short time. As we only host dinners once a month, this means that we frequently have to disappoint people when we aren't holding an event during the period that they're visiting.
A big thank you to all our guests who joined us on Friday night.
Your table art can all be seen below - though some of it sadly a bit damaged by spilt drinks.
Those of you you asked for recipes can find them them by following the links from the menu.
We hope to see you all again in the future some time. There are still a couple of places left for our dinner on March 4th and we'll be announcing our dinner dates in April and May very soon. Get in touch here to request a place.
Herzlichen Glückwünch zu Andrea, und eine Selektion von "Tisch-Kunst" kann unten gesehen werden.
Das Geburtstagsmenü kann hier gefunden werden, mit Links zu Rezepte.
We are taking a break from Kollwitzmarkt until the spring. If anyone is after any of our chutney in the meantime, do get in touch with us and we can probably sort something out.
Our varieties are:
Mango and Lime
Apple and Ginger
Pear, Date and Walnut
Tiger (Pineapple and Chilli)
Cost of 4,50€ per jar (or 4,00€ per jar if you buy 3 or more)
A very international crowd joined us last Friday for dinner, including people from America, Sweden, Croatia, Taiwan, Japan and, of course, Germany. Many of you chose to leave comments on the table in your native languages which are pictured below - we just hope you were all telling the truth to us when you said they were nice comments!
There were fewer people than expected, owing to last-minute cancellations, but fourteen people is still enough for a good time, and we had a great time with you all last Friday.
We have finally managed to sit down with a calendar and work out our early 2011 dates and would like to announce that we are now accepting bookings for dinner on:
Friday 7th January
Friday 4th February
Friday 4th March
We're pleased to report that several more guests have seen fit to write reviews of their experiences at Thyme Supperclub.
